At Asquith After School Care Centre, we believe that a quality environment for children is one that nurtures their self-esteem, supports their growing independence, and encourages them to develop a strong sense of identity and belonging. We are committed to creating a space where every child feels valued, respected, and empowered to explore their interests and abilities at their own pace.

We recognise that the emotional and social wellbeing of children is deeply connected to the environment around them. Therefore, we strive to cultivate a welcoming, inclusive, and stimulating atmosphere that promotes positive relationships, open communication, and active engagement.

Equally, we believe that quality care stems from confident, capable, and supported educators. Our team is encouraged to reflect on their practice, collaborate with families, and continuously grow in their professional knowledge. When educators feel secure and inspired in their roles, they are better equipped to create meaningful learning experiences and provide consistent, compassionate support to every child in our care.

At the heart of everything we do is a commitment to fostering a community where children thrive, staff flourish, and families feel a true sense of partnership.

Asquith After School Care Centre also known as Asquith OOSH (Out Of School Hours) is a 160 place service / Centre operating on the grounds of Asquith Public School. The service caters for children who attend the primary school.

The aim our service is to provide a quality recreation program for children who require care at times of before and after the school day. It is our hope that we can work side by side with parents in ensuring that the program meets the needs of children and their parents.

During the school holiday periods, Asquith After School Care also provides a Vacation Care Program for children. Our staff from After School Care design and implement this Program. Should you wish to know more about this program please do not hesitate to ask the staff or phone the Centre on (02) 9477 1998.

The Centre is managed by a Management Committee consisting of parents/carers who use the centre. Their role is to oversee management of the service to ensure it is run effectively and relevant legislation and policies are adhered to.
